Welcome to the 2011 Elko ATV Jamboree.  We are looking forward to a great event
this June and will be including a number of changes that we believe will make the Jamboree more enjoyable
and safe for everyone.  New rides, plus a overnight ride for the more adventurous riders.

The 2011 Jamboree will again be held at the Elko Convention and Visitors Authority.
We will meet at the Convention Center each morning for breakfast, announcements, and
finding your trail leader before leaving for the daily rides. Bring warm clothing and rain gear in case of
unexpected cooler or wet weather conditions. Also bring your sun screen and, of course, plenty of water to
drink and snacks.

Nevada is a unique state with many unique attributes.  However, with two spectacular
wilderness areas and thousands of square miles of open space, Elko County offers
limitless outdoor recreation opportunities.  Visit the Elko Convention and Visitors

The Elko area is high desert country with vast changes in elevation, terrain, habitat and
foliage.  Mining and ranching are the dominant industries in Elko County.  The Elko ATV
Jamboree is put on by a non-profit organization specifically formed for the Jamboree.
The ATV Jamboree Committee consists of volunteers from the Elko community.

Each year, new trails are added to the Jamboree itinerary and others dropped.  With
so many trails to explore here, we will strive to keep bringing new and different rides
for our participants.  Many of our Jamboree activities center around the culture of Elko
and Nevada.  We work hard to provide unique experiences to the Jamboree and will
always welcome your feedback and suggestions.

We are home to the National Basque Festival, the National Cowboy Poetry Gathering,
several snowmobile events and a variety of Pro Rodeos.  Nevada does not require
ATV'S to be registered and therefore cannot be driven on City streets as you may have
done at other Jamborees.  All rides will require transport of your ATV'S to a staging site
for each trail ride.  Each evening one of our sponsors will provide steam cleaning for
your ATV when you return from the trail rides.  There will be no charge for this service
but they do except donations.
