All rules will be strictly enforced

1.    All ATV'S, UTV'S will have a minimum 6' safety whip with flag on all machines, some of our trail
rides will use county roads, the whip flags will make you more visible to any regular vehicle
       traffic encountered.

2.
All ATV riders (drivers and passengers) are required to wear helmets.  UTV drivers and
passengers are not required to wear helmets but must wear sear belts.

3.
All participants must wear proper clothing - long pants, over the ankle shoes  or boots, short or
long sleeve shirt, helmet, gloves, eye protection.  No shorts, tank tops, sandals or flip flop
shoes.  The weather can be unpredictable here so a sweatshirt or jacket is a plus to bring with
       you on the trail rides.

4.
Absolutely no alcohol or drugs allowed during the trail rides or rodeo event.  This rule is for your
safety and the safety of others on the trail ride.  If you are impaired a DUI ticket on an ATV/UTV
is the same as in your regular vehicle, also the air ambulance off the mountain is no party.

5.    The Jamboree Committee will have a wash service et up in the Convention Center parking lot
to wash your ATV/UTV when you get back to sign out for the days ride.  In accordance with the
Elko ATV Jamboree's BLM and U.S. Forest Service Recreation Permit,
all ATV'S/UTV'S must be
washed each day to eliminate the possible spread of noxious weeds to different areas of Elko
       County.

6.    The trail rides are not races, the average speed on the trails is normally 15 to 20 mph
depending on the trail conditions, when on county roads the speed will be 30 to 35 mph.  All
rides are in the single file with a lead guide and a sweep guide.  When stopping for a rest, or
photo taking or other points of interest, pull to the right side of trail or road to allow other
vehicles to pass you if needed.  The trails here get dusty quickly so a dust mask or bandanna is a
plus, space out on rides to keep put of the dust from the person in front of you.
All regular vehicle traffic will have right of way on county roads.
ATV/UTV headlights must be
       turned on at all times.

7.   All children under the age of 17 must be accompanied by an adult on all rides.

8.   This is a "LEAVE NO TRACE EVENT"
please pick up after yourself and stick to existing roads.
